Noel wants to get his marriage to Natalie annulled. Felicity and Elena try and help him choose from a list of reasons that would be legal grounds for a judge to grant an annulment. The list includes mental incompetence, incest, and inability to have sexual relations. Noel tells them he's not saying he's impotent. They don't understand why it's such a big deal since no one will know. Their new roommate from England, Molly walks in just as Noel begins to practice saying he's impotent out loud. Noel tells her he's not impotent. Felicity and Elena laugh and tell Molly that he is.

Ben's mom calls and tells him that his father is missing. When Felicity asks him what's going on he tells her it's just some crap with his dad and he doesn't want to talk about it. He says he doesn't care anymore. Felicity tells him that when he wants to talk about it she'll listen.

Noel tells the judge that there is a slight problem with his 'equipment.' Natalie tells the judge that Noel doesn't have a problem and that he's the best lover she's ever had. Natalie leaves. The judge tells Noel to come back when they have their stories straight.

Ben goes to play basketball with Sean. He plays pretty rough. First he pushes Sean into a brick wall and then elbows him in the nose. Sean tells Ben he thinks he broke his nose. Julie asks Ben what's going on. He tells her that his mom says his father has been missing for 4 days and she wants him to file a missing persons report.

Sean tells Molly he has no hook for this week's docuventary, so he just wants her to talk about herself. She tells him she's here for her junior year abroad from England and she's studying fashion, photography, and orgasmology. She explains to him that orgasmology is the study and the science of the human orgasm. Sean encourages her to talk more about that. Molly changes the subject and asks what happened to his nose. Turns out it's not broken.

Felicity tells Elena that Ben won't open up and talk to her. Molly mentions that Ben hit Sean while they were playing basketball. Then Julie comes in and says she and Ben were hanging out - he's trying to deal with everything. Felicity asks what's everything. Julie tells her that Ben's father has been missing for 4 days and his mother wants him to file a missing persons report, but Ben doesn't want to. Elena is surprised Ben didn't tell Felicity anything. Julie tells Felicity not to take it personally because she and Ben have a history with this sort of thing. She reminds Felicity of when she was looking for her birth mother and Ben was there for her.

Felicity asks Ben if he filed the report. Ben says he doesn't want to do it because it's what his dad deserves. Felicity tells him he should. Ben asks her not to tell him what to do. She asks if he didn't tell her because he thinks she'll judge him. She tells him she only wants to help. He says he knows she cares, but he doesn't want to talk about it. He tells her he just wants some space to think - it has nothing to do with her. She tells him she understands and leaves the loft.

Javier tells Noel that Natalie has an inheritance that she can only collect if she's married. Noel confronts her. Natalie reminds him that he was the one who asked her to marry him and she said yes. She tells him she was always her uncle's favorite and he left her a quarter of a million dollars on the condition of her being married and her husband would receive one hundred thousand dollars a year into the marriage.

Noel struggles with the decision to end the marriage. The money would pay off all of his student loans and he'd be financially set for a while.

Julie asks Ben if he filed the report or called any hospitals. She tells him he can't just do nothing. Ben tells her he's already heard all of the speeches. She tells him it's not a speech - her dad died this summer. Ben tells her it's not the same thing. He says he knows she didn't know her dad and he knows it was really hard for her, but sometimes not knowing your dad is a better thing.

Molly tells Sean her mother is psychic. He thinks she's joking. She tells him that she sells corporate real estate, but in her spare time she's an actual psychic. She tells him when she told her mother she was thinking of going to New York her mother said she already knew and that New York is where she'll find her love.

Noel asks what everyone's thinks about him staying married to Natalie for a year to get the money. Elena tells him she'll never speak to him again if he stay's married to Natalie. Meghan says that Elena not speaking to him is reason enough to stay married. Noel questions whether he wants to throw away his relationship with Natalie just so he can finish college. Molly says it's a lot of money. Elena tells him marriage is sacred. Noel asks Ben what he thinks. Ben is understandably distracted with is father being missing . He apologizes and tells them he has to go. Felicity follows him. She tells him he can't keep shutting her out. He tells her not everything needs to be talked about. Ben tells her that his father was missing for 2 days when he was in seventh grade. He went with his mother to file a report, they checked the hospitals and morgues. Turns out he had driven 45 minutes to some parking lot in Sacramento and got crazy drunk. When he returned home he acted like nothing had happened. Ben says if that was the worst thing he did he would have forgiven him, but it wasn't. He says he's not calling anyone or looking for his father - this time he hopes he's dead.

Molly tells Felicity that she talked to her mom on the phone and her mom says that Ben feels really bad about yelling at her - her mom saw them arguing on the street. Felicity asks where Molly's mom is. She tells Felicity her mom is in London. She tells her that Ben is going to apologize to her.

Meghan tells Noel that Natalie runs at a different speed - a speed dangerous to someone like Noel. She tells him he'll go mental and 12 months from now one hundred thousand dollars won't cover his medication, room and board in an institution.

Felicity goes out for icecream and runs into Ben in the hallway. He apologizes to Felicity telling her that he shouldn't take things out on her - she's not the one who made life growing up so awful. She tells him she hates seeing him so upset. They hug. Julie tells him she filed a report and his father is in the hospital. Ben asks why she filed a report - it's none of her business. She tells him his father had alcohol poisoning and he's unconscious. Ben says he doesn't want to see his father. Julie tells him he's going to hate himself if he doesn't go. Felicity tells Julie that what happened with her father and what's going on with Ben's father is not the same thing. Julie yells at Felicity and tells her she doesn't know what she's talking about. Julie tells them that the hospital said she was a match. She tells them she lied about everything. She could have saved her father's life, but she said no and he died. She tells Ben to do what he wants.

Felicity goes with Ben to the hospital. The doctor alerts Ben that his father is conscious. Ben goes into the room and sits in a chair beside his father's bed. He touches his fathers arm and cries.

Noel tells Natalie they can't stay married and whatever they had was fun, but it's over now. They go back to the judge. Noel tells the judge about the inheritance. He says he was lured into the marriage based on false pretense. The judge tells them that would be grounds for an annulment. Natalie announces she's not keeping the money. She called her uncle's estate and requested the money be donated to a childrens charity in Texas. She tells the judge the marriage is not based on a lie or money - that it's based on love. Noel asks why she's doing this. Natalie says she's making a sacrifice in the name of their sacred bond. She leaves. Noel apologizes to the judge and tells him he won't come back until they get everything all figured out. He tells Noel to find a different judge.

Natalie tells Noel that she loves him and if she has to give up hundreds of thousands of dollars to prove it to him she will. She reminds him that she's always believed that money just works itself out. She just wants to see where things go. Noel says if it's really just about them they have to get the marriage annulled and start fresh. She agrees to let him go if it's what he really needs. They start over fresh with a kiss. He asks if what she said about him being the best lover she's ever had was true. She tells him he pretty much put everyone else to shame.

Ben is relieved that his dad is okay. He and Felicity return and find Julie has packed her things and moved out of the apartment. She's left a video message for everyone. They all sit in front of the tv and watch the tape together. In the video she apologizes for being difficult. She tells Elena that she knows she was just trying to be a good friend and apologizes for shutting her out. She hopes Elena can forgive her. She tells Noel she's glad he's getting his life back together. She tells Sean she's really going to miss him. She thanks him for giving her a home for the last two years. She says she's glad he and Meghan are happy together. She tells Meghan to be good to Sean because he deserves it. She tells Ben she didn't mean to meddle in his business. She thanks him for everything and she feels like she's known him forever. She tells Felicity that she doesn't think she could have made it this far without her. She says she's sorry that they fought the night before. She knows that they're better friends than that and she knows Felicity knows it too. She says she came to New York to find her birth parents and she ended up just making more of a mess. She says she doesn't think New York is the place for her now. She doesn't know where she's going, but hopefully this time she'll learn more about herself. She says she's going to miss everyone and it isn't goodbye forever, just for now. She says she'll see them when she sees them.
