Javier has been spending time with his infant nephew. He tells Felicity that he and his life partner Samuel would like to become parents and they'd like Felicity to donate one of her eggs to be fertilized with Javier's sperm. Javier's aunt would carry the baby to term. Felicity is stunned, yet flattered that Javier and Samuel would like their child to have her genes. Ben doesn't even want to hear the words sperm and Javier in the same sentence. He asks Felicity if she's considering doing it. If she is - he thinks it's a bad idea. Felicity lies and says she's not considering it, then later tells Ben she wants to do it. Ben tries to make her see things from his point of view. She would be the mother of Javier and Samuel's child. Felicity apologizes to Javier and tells him that she talked to Ben and she's decided not to donate the egg. Javier is disappointed, but tells Felicity he understands. He and Samuel choose a donor who wants to meet with the 'parents' to be. Javier feels the donor might have a problem with donating an egg to two male parents, so he asks Felicity to pretend to be his wife and meet the donor with him. The donor wants to know that the couple she donates an egg to is happy and in love. Felicity tells her that Javier is the sweetest, dearest man she knows. He's romantic, optimistic…he's her best friend and she knows he will make a great father. The donor is impressed with Javier and Felicity as a couple. Felicity throws a baby shower for Javier and Samuel. The donor stops by Dean & Deluca to drop off some medical information. She is given Felicity's address so she decides to stop by. She walks in on Javier and Samuel kissing at the baby shower. She's upset that Felicity and Javier lied to her and tells Felicity she can't do it. She tells Felicity that she grew up in Iowa and she goes to church on Sundays. Two male parents is not her idea of a family. Now that the donor has changed her mind, Felicity wants to help out Javier and Samuel even more. She goes to a fertility specialist to find out exactly what would be required of her to donate an egg. She would have to undergo hormone injections to harvest the eggs, which could cause moodiness. It's a little more involved than she'd anticipated, but she wants to do it. Felicity calls her mom to tell her the news. Her mom thinks it's a crazy idea. Felicity reminds her mother that she was Javier's best man at his wedding and he's her best friend.
Ben finds out at the Al-Anon meeting that Molly has been using drugs. The drugs Felicity found in the closet a few episodes back when Julie left, were in fact Molly's. She says her drug addict boyfriend, James, is a bad influence on her and she's been using as well. She wants Ben to promise that he won't reveal the truth to Felicity since they're not supposed to talk about what goes on in the Al-Anon meetings outside of the meetings. Ben agrees, but doesn't feel comfortable keeping the information from Felicity. He reminds Molly that Felicity was really uncomfortable about drugs in the apartment.
Tracey tells Elena he knows she slept with Finn. He yells at her for pressuring him for sex and then tells her he hopes she enjoyed it. She tells him that she didn't - she was confused… Elena writes a letter to Tracey to explain her feelings for him and asking for her forgiveness. Tracy tells her he can't forgive her for sleeping with Finn.
Noel tells Felicity about Jane and how he's been reading her e-mail. Felicity tells him he can't continue to invade her privacy and that he has to tell her the truth. She pumps his ego and tells him that he doesn't need to go to extremes like that to get a girl interested in him.
Noel continues reading Jane's e-mail to find out her likes and dislikes to get closer to her. They go out and return to her room where they make out. She'd been confused about her feelings for an old friend, some guy she calls Tricky and new feelings for Noel - but not anymore. Noel tells her that he's been reading her e-mail on occasion, like every day. She accuses him of being a stalker and kicks him out of her room. Noel later runs into Richard. Turns out he was the old friend Jane was confused about. When Noel dropped the bomb, she went to Richard. Not knowing Jane's interest in Noel, Richard announces that he's no longer a virgin - thanks to Jane. Jane spots Richard and comes over and hugs him. She sees Noel and instantly her smile fades. Richard introduces the two and they pretend they don't already know one another.
Felicity goes back and forth with the idea of donating an egg for Javier and Samuel. She tells Ben it would be weird and a huge responsibility - being a mother and she just isn't ready. Ben tells her that he didn't want her to do it because he couldn't stand the thought of her sharing herself in that way with someone else. He tells her he'll support her in whatever decision she makes. Felicity decides that she isn't going to donate the egg.
