Felicity receives a letter from the registrar's office indicating that she never dropped a class she thought she dropped - Intro to Western Thought. She took a drawing class instead. She visits the professor to clear the matter. He tells her apparently the registrar's office never got her drop-class form - she's in the class and she's going to fail. He tells her she's missed 3 quizzes and a test. Felicity insists she dropped the class. She tells the professor she'll go to the registrar's office to get it straightened out. He reminds her it's December - it's too late to drop a class. She explains to him that this is a nightmare and asks him what she can do. He tells her he doesn't know. She asks him how much the final counts toward her grade. He tells her it's half her grade. She says that if she could get an'A' on the final- she could pass the class with a 'C'. He laughs and tells her students who have been to class all semester won't even get an 'A'. Felicity goes home and asks Meghan if she mailed her form months ago. Meghan was going out and Felicity had asked her to mail her form along with a letter to Sally. Meghan swears she did, Then finds the form in her drawer along with other things she was supposed to mail that day. Felicity is steaming with anger. She now has to take a final exam for a class she's never attended.
It's been four weeks since Sean's surgery. He and Meghan attempt to have sex, however Sean isn't able to get an erection. Meghan reminds him that it's their first try after the surgery and that they can try again later. Later never comes. Sean is afraid to try again. Meghan is frustrated that Sean won't even attempt to have sex with her. She begins to think that he's no longer attracted to her. They both reluctantly agree to help Richard choose students to appear in a calendar to raise money for the student council fund. They both get jealous when the other seems too interested in the calendar candidates. They argue and then Sean reveals he was afraid to try again because he worried that his performance would be mediocre and Meghan might leave him for someone else. Once they talk and are reminded of how much they mean to one another - all is well.
Noel and Felicity find out the Icebox wants ideas for the next 20 episodes of 'Loser Pet Store' by the end of the week. They're competing with another team for the Icebox's final production slot. Felicity doesn't think they can do it. She's got finals plus she has to cram for a class she's never attended. Ben encourages Felicity to drop the project with Noel so she can concentrate on her classes. Felicity doesn't want to give up the project - she really wants to do it. Ben wishes her luck. The load becomes too heavy. She doesn't tell Noel about her dilemma and when she doesn't have the energy to work on their ideas he blows up at her thinking she doesn't care about the project. Noel complains to Ben about Felicity's 'attitude.' Ben explains to him what Felicity has been going through. Noel feels bad - he wishes Felicity would have told him what was going on. He offers to help her study for the class - he was a teacher's assistant for the class last year. He tells Felicity he'll ask for an extension until Monday for the Icebox cartoon. When he's denied an extension, he lies to Felicity and tells her they have the extra time. Felicity doesn't think she has a chance to pass her class. She's sleep deprived and can't remember anything. Noel tells her he has faith that she can do anything she wants to do. Felicity sleepily tells him that she can't fly. He tells her to channel her sarcasm to energy she can use to study. They pull an all-nighter. Felicity barely has enough energy to take her final. She later tells Noel that during the final she kept hearing his voice - it was annoying, but it helped her a great deal. She tells him answers kept coming to her. He decides to tell her that he lied to her about the extension for 'Loser Pet Store' and that they'd have to pull another all-nighter to get their ideas ready for presentation tomorrow. It's too late - Felicity is already asleep and doesn't hear a word of his confession.
Elena freaks when she finds out that Tracey has been chosen to be featured in the calendar. She doesn't think she'll stand a chance of getting back together with Tracey if there are tons of other chicks after him. She tells him he can't do it. He tells her it's not her place to tell him what he can and can't do - she 's not his girlfriend. She tells him that she can't be 'just friends with him. Later Tracey comes to her and tells her he can't do the 'friends' thing either. He kisses her. They end up in bed and have sex for the first time.
Molly can't seem to leave James. She tells Felicity and Ben that James is dealing drugs and using again and so is she. She knows that it's wrong, but when she's with him she can't help herself. Ben goes with Molly to the addiction clinic to get help. Later, James bursts into the apartment looking for Molly and to get her to leave with him. Noel tells them they should really start locking their door. Molly is too weak to answer for herself. Ben calmly asks James to leave and give Molly time to rest. After a few moments of fear of being in the same room with James, he decides to leave, but tells Molly he'll be back later. Felicity tells Ben she's proud of the way he handled the situation. Ben tells her he was trying hard not to wet his pants. James could have pulled out his gun at any moment. Later, Molly tells Ben and Felicity that James pulled the gun on her when he was high. She's worried that something bad will happen to him. Felicity tells her that if she goes back to James, something bad could happen to her. Molly doesn't think she can even breathe without James. Ben decides to help her end her relationship with James. Molly meets James out in public to tell him it's over. Ben watches from across the street to stay out of James' sight. It looks like Molly has finally ended things. She starts to walk away from James, then they hug and she walks away with him. Ben stands there watching in disbelief.
