Felicity tells her counselor that as great as college is, there's something cruel about it. You don't know anyone when you get there, but then all of a sudden you find yourself making connections, making friends,and dating people. There's something incredible about it and you feel like anything is possible. You go through years of that and you get used to it. It's not real - because graduation comes and whatever you've been working towards or whatever your plans are just pulls you away. If your having a difficult time with a friend and he leaves, you don't have college anymore to rely on to keep you together. The counselor reminds Felicity that life outside of college ends too. Felicity says she just thought when that time came, she and Noel would still be friends. Felicity says she hasn't said anything thing to Ben about Noel kissing her. The counselor says that's interesting. Felicity reminds her that she's the one who said kindness is more important than honesty. The counselor asks why Felicity hasn't told Ben. Felicity says it didn't mean anything, just like when Avery kissed Ben. Felicity says knowing that didn't make her feel any better. She wishes she'd never found out. She says if she told Ben, he'd hate Noel forever. The counselor asks if Noel is no longer in her life - if their friendship is really over like Noel says - then what does it matter what Ben thinks. Felicity says she's not ready to believe that their friendship is over.

Felicity tells Ben it would be great to go to Acadia National Park in Maine this summer and go camping. She thinks it'll be pretty amazing and Ben agrees. Felicity tells him she went to the college camping club to get some camping gear. They have this really cool program where they lone you all this stuff... She reminds Ben that this is their last real summer. She tells him they don't have to work this summer. Ben says she doesn't have to convince him, he'll do it. She tells him she can go back and get sleeping bags and stoves and everything. Ben tells her that sounds great.

Ruby comes to town with her baby girl Eva for Noel's graduation. Noel tells Ruby that the baby is beautiful. Ruby kisses Noel. She tells Noel that Eva was so good on the flight, people came up and thanked her afterward. Noel tells her she's a great Mom. He still can't believe she's a Mom. She says she can't either. He thanks her for coming. She tells him she's wanted to for so long - this was the perfect excuse. He tells her she looks great. She thanks him and says she's good. She tells him it's hard, it's a lot of work, but it's the best - no regrets. Noel asks how things worked out with the baby's father, Wade. Ruby says Wade returned to Los Angeles. She says he came to Colorado, and she gives him a lot of credit, but they definitely weren't meant to be. Felicity arrives. She and Ruby hug. Felicity tells her Eva is amazing.

Elena returns from an amusement park with Deforest and a huge stuffed,pink prize bunny. Tracy is standing outside the apartment door. She asks Tracy what he's doing. He tells her he was just delivering a letter. He tells her she should read it. She introduces him to Deforest. He and Tracy say hello to one another and shake hands. Tracy leaves. Elena reads the letter. Molly tells her that James would do exactly the same thing to her. She'd be on the brink of getting over him and he'd just show up. Then the whole thing would start all over again. Elena says she can't deal with this again - Tracy lied to her. She says she knows that she did the same thing with Finn, but it was just too painful, finding out about Tracy and Rose. She says she can't trust him.

Felicity overhears Ben talking on the phone trying to get out of something. She asks what he's trying to get out of. Ben tells her nothing. Felicity says she won't ask him again if he doesn't want her to. A few seconds later she returns to the room and says she really wants to ask him again. Ben tells her that after that night with Avery he got a stupid idea. He tells her that night in the ambulance was unbelievable - watching Avery die and then watching the paramedics bring her back to life was amazing. He says he can't stop thinking about that night and what Felicity's mom said about his future. He tells her he applied to an E.M.T. program in Kansas City as a joke and he got in. Felicity's excited that Ben wants to train to be a paramedic. Ben says he's not doing it. Felicity asks why not. She says it's amazing that he got in. He tells her it's a 3-month long intensive program with 18 hour days. He reminds her that they're supposed to spend the summer together and they wouldn't get to see one another if he goes for the training. He says he can do the program any time. He tells her he wants to spend the summer with her. Like she said - it's their last summer ever.

Meghan presents Sean with a pair of airline tickets to Switzerland. She tells him her parents are going to be using the house in Tuscany this summer, so they're letting them stay at the house in Geneva. Sean doesn't feel right about having his girlfriend and her parents pay for his vacation. He says it's incredibly thoughtful,but it's a little emasculating. Meghan says they have the house - someone should use it. They did it last summer in Tuscany. Sean says that getting a free ride is not exactly building his self esteem. Sean says he thought they could plan their own vacation together. Meghan says okay, forget Switzerland, they'll do something else.

Felicity gives Noel a graduation gift. It's a book called 'The Alphabet,' that he wanted that was out of print sophomore year. Felicity says he told her it inspired him, so she thought it would help keep him inspired in Seattle. He tells her he can't accept it. She tells him it took her way too long to find it - he has to take it. He thanks her.

Ben doesn't think he'd be any good as a paramedic. He asks Sean what he thinks. Sean tells Ben he can't even take his own temperature. Felicity says who cares what Sean thinks. Ben reminds her they're going to spend the summer together. He asks when she wants to leave. Felicity says how about tomorrow. Ben reminds her that Noel's graduation is tomorrow. Felicity tells Ben she's pretty sure Noel doesn't want her there and it's his graduation, so she doesn't want to make him uncomfortable.

Tracy tells Elena that things are over between him and Rose. Elena aks if he knows what it's like being dumped because she can't stand celibacy and then finding out that he and his missionary girlfriend were getting it on. He doesn't know what she's talking about. She tells him about the condom she found in his wallet. He opens his wallet and shows her the condom. He tells her he's had that same condom since they were dating and she's the only person he's ever had sex with. He tells her he went to Africa because he wanted to be around people who shared his beliefs. He wanted to pretend that the rest of the world , including her, did not exist. He tells her that Rose made sense - sleeping with Elena didn't - at least logically. He says Rose is logical, but she doesn't make sense. He tells Elena that she makes sense. Tracy tells her he knows they can work things out and he's not giving up on her. Elena tells him she didn't think she'd be able to get over him, but she did. She tells him she can't go through it again.

Sean tells Meghan they should go to Atlantic City for vacation. Meghan hates the idea. She tells him it's like 10 minutes away and they may as well go to the roof for a vacation. Meghan suggests Hawaii. Sean says she's not taking his financial situation into account. Meghan says it's hard to take zero into account. He calls her 'Daddy's little rich girl.' Sean suggests they go to Israel . Meghan says no. The Bahamas is the next choice on her list. Sean asks her if she thinks she's dating Bill Gates. Meghan says she thought she was dating a guy who would let his girlfriend pay for a fun vacation because she can.

Noel apologizes to Ben for not being very generous sometimes or up front. He just wanted to say good-bye on decent terms. They shake hands. Ben asks what it's like knowing what you want to do with your life. He tells Noel that he has a job that he loves - that he's good at. He says that's more than most people. Noel says he feels lucky, like he backed into something great. He says most people spend four years in college trying to find a class that inspires them, but he found one freshman year in graphic design. Noel says he's moving to a city he's never been to for a job that terrifies him. Ben says it's none of his business, but he always thought Noel and Ruby were really good together.

Noel hangs out with Ruby and the baby. He notices that she's wearing the bracelet he gave her. She tells him it reminds her of him - it makes her feel closer to him. She says she misses him.

Noel tells Felicity that he can't keep the book because it would remind him of her and he doesn't want that. She takes the book then returns a few seconds later and tells him he can't just dump his friends because he's freaking out. Felicity thinks he's terrified of graduating. He says what terrifies him is that he's going to move across the country and he's still not going to be able to get away from her. She says now she's an evil presence in his life. Noel says not evil, just completely unhealthy. Felicity asks if he's going to throw away everything that they have because they can't go out. She tells him he's being selfish. She throws down the book and tells him he can do whatever he wants with it - she's not taking it back. Felicity heads for the door. Noel yells and tells her wants her to get out of his life. She says she's going. Ruby arrives as Felicity is leaving.

Felicity tells her counselor that she's not angry with Noel, just sad about what has happened. The counselor agrees that Felicity is being selfish. Felicity says she wishes she could take back what she said to Noel. The counselor says that would keep her from moving on. Felicity says it's not like someone's died. The counselor tells her it's exactly like that. She tells Felicity that she's lost a friend, now she's mourning that loss. Felicity says she doesn't want their fight to be the last time she talks to him. She wants to tell Noel that she cares about him and that she wishes he had more faith in their relationship because they've been through so much together. She says she doesn't know what her future will be, but she always thought Noel would be a part of it. She says she wants to tell him that of all of the friends she's made at college, he's the one she thought she'd have forever. She says she wants his friendship back and she hopes he does too. She decides to go to the graduation.

All of Noel's friends attend his graduation. Afterward, Ruby reveals that she came to see if they still had a chance. He tells her it's not like he doesn't care about her. She tells him it's because he's in love with Felicity, at least it seemed that way from the fight she overheard.

Noel apologizes to Felicity. She tells him she understands and she wishes she could change things. Felicity tells Noel that he was right - she was being selfish. Noel's mom has been looking for him. Noel explains that he was just talking to Felicity. Noel's mom is excited to finally meet 'The' Felicity Porter. She says they've been hearing her name for years. She wants to take a photograph. She tells Noel to put his arm around Felicity and she snaps the photo. Felicity wishes Noel good luck in Seattle. Noel wishes her good luck in New York.

Felicity is packing. She tells Ben she hates packing - it's so final. Ben tells her he's been thinking about the E.M.T. program and how she's been telling him it's a great opportunity. She asks if he wants to do it. Ben says he called them and it's still available if he wants it. He tells her he'd have to leave the next day. He asks if she'd ever go. She tells him she can't go, but that he should. He tells her that he doesn't want to go without her - he doesn't want to spend another summer apart. She tells him she doesn't want to spend the summer apart either, but if they went camping, she'd feel guilty because he wouldn't be doing something that would be amazing for him. He tells her he doesn't have to go. She says he has to go - she can tell. He says that if he goes he's going to really miss her. She says she's going to miss him too.

Elena goes to see Deforest. She asks if she can talk to him. He tells her she doesn't need to - he already knows what she's going to say - she's going back to Tracy. She tells him she's really sorry. He tells her he's been through this lots of times. He tells her he understands and he'll see her around. She tells him she didn't know that any of this was going to happen and she didn't mean to hurt him. She tells him she's been in his position before and she knows it sucks. She tells him not to doubt that she cares about him. Deforest wishes her good luck with Tracy. He tells her he hopes Tracy makes her happy.

Since Felicity and Ben aren't going camping, they won't need the gear and supplies Felicity got from the camping club. Sean tells Meghan he told Felicity they'd go camping and Felicity can watch the loft while they're away. Meghan says camping could be fun, but she really doesn't want to go. Sean asks if she still has the plane tickets to Switzerland. Meghan pulls the tickets out of her purse and hands them to Sean. He tells her he's sure Felicity wouldn't mind staying at the loft the entire summer for free. Meghan asks Sean if he still feels emasculated or is against a free ride. He offers to pay for the cab fare to the airport. Meghan says it's a deal.

Felicity and Ben kiss good-bye. Felicity asks him if they're going to be okay. Ben says they will. They hug one last time. Ben gets in the taxi cab. They wave good-bye.

Felicity returns to her room in the apartment and finds a time capsule box from Noel on her bed filled with items like Boggle game pieces, a water gun, Magic 8 ball, student counsel campaign buttons, a photograph of them together, a cd, and a tape with a recorded message for Felicity. He says that recording a message for her is a little easier for him He tells her that he guesses he should start with good-bye, but this isn't how they should be ending they're year. he says he thinks she understands what he's going through and this time apart is sort of important. He apologizes for the way he acted before, but has no doubt that they'll get through this and they'll be in each others lives. He tells her to have a great summer and he'll miss her more than she knows.

Elena is packing at the apartment when Tracy stops by. She tells him he really should call before just stopping by. He says he knows - Deforest could have been there and it would have been pretty embarrassing. Elena tells him he doesn't have to worry about Deforest because she's not dating him anymore. She tells Tracy not to read more into that than there really is and just because she's not dating Deforest doesn't mean she wants Tracy to be her boyfriend. Tracy says, 'good.' She continues talking and tells Tracy it's not like she's been just sitting there for the past few months waiting for him to come back - she has a life. She asks him what he meant by 'good.' Tracy says he doesn't want to be her boyfriend anymore. He pulls out a ring box and gets down on one knee, opens the box and tells Elena he wants to be her husband. Elena says, 'Oh my God!' and then faints.

Felicity is folding laundry at the loft when Noel returns. She asks what he's doing there. He tells her that the internet is dead - his project was canceled. He asks why she's there - he thought she was going camping. She explains that Ben went to Kansas City for E.M.T. training. She asks Noel if he wants to go and get some ice cream. Noel smiles. They go and get ice cream on cones.
