Sean wants to get Meghan a ring, but he's broke. Meghan's parents are upset because she and Sean got married without them. She tells him they want to know who the hell she's married to and they want to have a dinner and meet his family. Sean says they wouldn't want to if they knew his family. Meghan tells him they're having dinner tomorrow at 7:30. Sean says it's a little too soon for him. Meghan says he's her husband now and her parents want to make sure he's responsible.

Ben stops by the apartment to see Felicity. He says he thinks it's crazy. Felicity says she knows - she doesn't want to be broken up. Ben says he doesn't want to either. He suggests they just forget about everything and start the year over. Felicity tells him that would be really good. They hug.

Felicity asks Javier if he could stay with Samuel if he ever cheated on him and got away with it - if it was just one time - an isolated thing - a mistake, but he'd gotten away with it… Javier asks if there's something he should know. Felicity reveals that she cheated on Ben with Noel, but Ben doesn't know. Javier gasps - hand over mouth. She tells him that no one knows and he can't tell anyone. Javier says he knows, that's why she chose him. He tells her his lips are like 2 glue sticks. He asks her what she's going to do. Felicity tells him she doesn't know. She just wants to get it out of her head and have everything back to normal.

Ben's struggling with his organic chemistry class. He asks for Felicity's help with ketone synthesis, but she really doesn't remember enough to help. She tells him Elena's really good with o-chem. She tells him she could talk to Elena for him. Ben says he'll figure it out. He asks Felicity if she thinks it's stupid for him to try and do this stuff. Felicity tells him she thinks he's going to be great. She tells him 'Say Anything' is playing at the student union and asks if he wants to go. Ben says, 'yeah', if he finishes his work. Felicity tells him that would be great. They kiss.

Felicity tells Javier that the hardest part is kissing Ben. It's like she can't get herself to stop thinking.

Meghan tells Sean she called his parents and they can't wait to come. Sean tells her he doesn't want to do this. She tells him he doesn't have a choice in the matter - she's wearing the pants in the family. Sean's afraid his father will embarrass him. Meghan tells him that everyone's father embarrasses them. Sean tells her she has no idea what she's getting into. Meghan tells him she's not scared.

Felicity's receives a loan check for only $75 - tuition is $8,000. She's told that she applied late. The government allocates a fixed amount of funds for aid. It's then distributed based on applicant's need and his or her timing… She's told she'll have a better shot spring semester. She asks what she's going to do for this semester. The representative offers her a book - guide to scholarships. She thanks him. He tells her the book costs $35. Felicity pays for the book.

Noel receives $50,000 from Natalie's inheritance. He can't believe he gets money just for being married to Natalie for 1 year. Noel is uncomfortable taking the money. Natalie's lawyer tells him if he doesn't accept the money, it will just go to the law firm. He tells Noel that Natalie had no trouble taking the money. Noel says he could get a new apartment - maybe a 2 bedroom to have a separate space for an office. He accepts the money.

Sean's parents arrive at the loft. They meet Meghan for the first time. They comment that she's gorgeous. Sean's mother says they were in shock when they weren't invited to their own son's wedding, but now she can tell it was meant to be. They say they're looking forward to meeting her parents. As they're leaving the loft to meet Meghan's parents for dinner, Sean's father notices the stereo. He asks if it's a Sony. Sean says it's Audiovox. His father asks how much he paid for it. Meghan says Sean was able to get the guy down to $400. Sean's father says his guy could've gotten it for $300. Sean asks his father why he's wearing a suit to a casual dinner. His father says he likes the suit. Sean says he's trying way too hard to impress. He tells his father people can see right through it. Sean's father asks if he embarrasses him. Sean explains that Meghan's parents are a little different - they wouldn't ask how much something costs. Sean's father angrily says they're leaving. Meghan asks them not to go and tells them Sean didn't mean what he said. Sean's father tells Meghan they had a good time, but he knows his son and that he meant what he said. Sean's mother apologizes to Meghan and tells her they'll reschedule. After they leave, Meghan asks Sean if he's happy - if he's satisfied. She tells him now he has to call her parents to explain. Sean says, 'Happily.'

Elena tells Felicity that she called Tracy and hung up when his roommate answered the phone. She says she hates the idea that she's never going to see him again. Felicity tells Elena she's got to give him some time. She assures Elena that she'll see him again. Elena says losing a fiancé is hard - not to mention a lab partner. She says maybe she and Ben will team up - he asked her to help him with Professor Hodges' o-chem class. Felicity tells Elena it was her idea. She tells Elena she knows how busy she is right now and apologizes. Elena says it's no problem. Ben enters the apartment and overhears them talking. She says she doesn't know what she can do - it's a tough class. Felicity tells her Ben really wants this. Elena reminds Felicity of a guy they knew who really wanted it too, but burned out in 6 weeks. Elena says she doesn't want to see that happen to Ben. She tells Felicity he didn't know what alkane was. She says that's as basic as it gets. Elena says she doesn't know if Ben is the most disciplined guy - pre-med is a full time job. Felicity says she refuses to believe Ben is a 6-weeker, if he really wants to, he'll make a great doctor. Ben enters the room and apologizes for interrupting. He says he just wanted to tell Felicity that he got the equations. Felicity says she knew he would. Elena offers to help. Ben says he's good. He leaves and goes to the library.

Sean owes money to a co-op and a representative attempts to collect. She tells Sean she hates to bother him, but she's really getting a lot of pressure from the co-op board. Sean tells her he's in a bind. He asks if she can give him a couple more days. She says she can hold them off for 2 more days, but warns him that the co-op board will hire a lawyer if he doesn't come through.

Noel tells Sean he's found a new place and wants to give him 30-days notice. Sean asks if Noel got a job or something. Noel says it's kind of embarrassing - the Natalie inheritance came through.

Ben and his new lab partner Trevor are having difficulty completing their lab assignment. Trevor complains that they've been at it for 6 hours without success. Trevor wants to go out and grab a few beers. Ben wants to continue working on the lab.

Sean visits his father to tell him dinner has been rescheduled. It's now brunch tomorrow. His returns to the loft and finds his furniture is being removed by a collections company. Sean asks how they got in. He's told the landlord let them in. Sean complains that they're taking everything he owns. The collections representative tells Sean he's got bigger problems - he's about to be evicted.

Felicity stops by the loft. Noel is sitting on the floor next to a lamp. She asks what's going on. Noel tells her Sean left a not saying the floors are being redone. She tells him she heard he was moving. He tells her he found a place. She tells him to tell Sean she stopped by - she has a financial question for him. Noel says she must be pretty desperate. She tells him she went to the bank to get a loan for school, but they said she didn't have enough collateral. She tells Noel she always gets those pre-approved credit card applications in the mail and she was considering charging her tuition. Noel tells her not to because of the high interest. He tells her he can help her. He tells her the Natalie inheritance was $50,000 and he doesn't really need or want it. He says he can get a smaller apartment. She says she can't take money from him. He tells her it would be like a loan. She can pay him back whenever and there would be no interest charges. She tells him he's amazing and thanks him, however, she has to do this on her own.

Ben stayed up all night working on his lab assignment and still did not do the assignment correctly. Professor Hodges comments that getting some sleep would have possibly helped him avoid the common error he made. Ben asks what the error was. Hodges says telling him how to do it isn't going to help. If he's going to complete the next lab he has to figure this one out - on his own. Hodges tells Ben if he doesn't, there won't be a next lab. Hodges walks away. Ben tells Trevor he was right - Hodges sucks. Professor Hodges hears Ben and tells him that if he has a problem - no one is forcing him to stay.

Sean asks Noel to invest money from the Natalie inheritance in his latest idea - flavored pen caps. Noel says it's a risky investment. Sean tells him to think about it. He gives Noel blackberry and cherry pen caps to try.

Felicity tells Javier that her options are to either call her dad and grovel or drop out. Javier asks to see the scholarship guidebook. Felicity tells him that she's looked through the entire book and there's nothing left. Javier finds a beauty pageant that awards scholarships. Felicity tells him she's not entering a beauty pageant. She thinks it's completely ridiculous.

Ben stops by the apartment to see Felicity, but she's not there. He notices Elena seems down and asks what's the matter. She tells him that she just received a letter from Tracy. He says he needs to forget about her for a while. He's taking the semester off and he's gone on a mission with his church to Zambia. Elena tells Ben she was hoping she and Tracy could figure things out - that they could fix it. She tells him she feels like she's made the biggest mistake of her life. She feels stupid. Ben tells her she's not stupid. She tells him that she's lost Tracy because she didn't marry him. Ben says maybe. He tells her he knows it's hard but marrying someone for the wrong reasons would be worse - it would be crazy. Ben tells her he thinks she did the right thing. She thanks him. He says,' Yeah, not bad for a 6-weeker.' Elena's jaw drops. She realizes Ben overheard her conversation with Felicity. She apologizes. Ben laughs and tells her not to worry about it.

Sean and Meghan have brunch with their parents at Meghan's parents' house. Things are going ok until the subjects of money and business are discussed. Sean's father tells Meghan's father about his latest invention - screwless chairs - chairs you assemble without any screws. Meghan's dad asks Sean's dad if he has a prospectus or a business plan. Sean's dad says he has one in his coat. He goes to get it. Sean follows him and tells him that it's bad enough that he used to ask his friends for money and now he's asking his in-laws. Sean's dad tells him he's offering Meghan's dad an opportunity. Sean says it's an opportunity to lose money. Sean tells him Meghan's father does not want to invest, he's just to classy to tell him that. Sean tells him he's embarrassing himself. Sean's dad asks if he thinks he's a loser. Sean asks when was the last time one of his ideas ever worked.

Noel tells Sean he's not interested in the flavored pen cap. Sean tells him it's ok and apologizes for attempting to take advantage of Noel. He's having financial problems and was desperate. Noel tells him that just because he's not interested in investing doesn't mean he's not interested in helping. Sean tells him he can't take his money. Noel explains it's a loan and he expects to be paid back. Sean tells Noel he needs a lot of money. Noel says it's ok. He tells Sean that Natalie inheritance is blood money and he wants no part of it. He writes Sean a check. Sean hugs him. Noel tells Sean he's glad he could help.

Elena helps Ben and Trevor with the lab assignment. When they finally get it right, Trevor wants to go out drinking and celebrate. He convinces Elena to go. Ben tells them he has to go and find Felicity.

Sean goes to see his dad. He apologizes for his behavior at brunch. He says he just wants Meghan's parents to accept him - to think that he's 'somebody.' His father tells him that it's ok to want to be successful and that he already is 'somebody.' Sean complains that he's 27 years old, he's never been to college, he doesn't have a job, and all his friends are younger than him. He says now he has a wife to support. He says he's a loser. His father tells him that he's already successful and he's proud of him. He asks what he's been working on lately. Sean tells him about the flavored pen caps. His father tells him he had the same idea. He tells Sean the pen cap idea could be huge.

Noel helps Sean move the furniture back into the loft.

Ben stops by the apartment to see Felicity. She's looking through some photos. He asks what she's doing. She tells him she's trying to find a photo for a scholarship application. Ben asks what kind of scholarship requires a photo. She tells him she'll let him know if it works out. He asks if she wants to go see that movie - 'Say Anything.' She tells him she'd love to. They kiss.

Meghan tells Noel her parents threatened to disown her. If she doesn't annul her marriage to Sean she'll be cut off. She tells Noel not to tell Sean. Sean comes home and gives Meghan a wedding ring. He tells her it's cubic zirconia, but he promises he'll get her the 'real thing' when he can afford it. She tells him she loves the ring. They hug.
