Ben apologizes to Felicity for not calling her. She tells him it's ok. She asks if he wants to come over - they have lots of leftovers from Thanksgiving and it'll give them a chance to talk. A minute later he tells her he doesn't think it's such a good idea - he thinks they need to move on.

Elena tells Felicity that if Ben wants to move on - that means he wants to see other people. She tells Felicity that when she and Tracy broke up she kept herself busy so she wouldn't have to think about it. Felicity tells her she's going to the studio to paint. Javier invites Felicity to see a play - A Streetcar Named Desire. Felicity says she doesn't know. He convinces her to go with him. Later, Javier convinces Ben to go to the play with him as well. Ben has already made plans with Lauren, so he invites her to come along. Felicity is shocked when she arrives and finds Ben there. Ben asks what she's doing there. She tells him Javier invited her. Felicity says 'Oh my god, what is he doing?' Ben says he doesn't know. Lauren arrives and asks if there are tickets available. Felicity explains that she was supposed to be meeting Javier. She gives her ticket to Lauren. Felicity is furious with Javier. She returns home and yells at him for trying to get her back together with Ben. She tells him it was so embarrassing - he made them both look like idiots. She reminds him that she and Ben are broken up. Javier apologizes - he had no idea Ben would bring Lauren. Tearfully, Felicity says she guesses Lauren is the one Ben is moving on with or whatever. She says there was a definite vibe between them.

Noel tells Dr. Auerbach that he hasn't been feeling like himself lately. He says he feels like he's falling - the things that used to hold him in place, like work and friends, are snapping like twigs. The Dr. tells him that his symptoms of insomnia, anxiety, and his family history seem to point to a mood disorder like depression. He recommends therapy and medication. Noel says he's not sick - he doesn't have symptoms. Noel says the problems he's been having are all outside of him - he denies there's anything wrong with him. He tells the doctor that medication seems a little extreme to him.

Ben goes back to Lauren's place after the play. She tells him she had a really nice time. They kiss. Lauren's phone rings. She lets the machine pick up, but then jumps up to answer when she hears her ex-boyfriend's voice. He wants to talk. Lauren apologizes. Ben goes home.

Ben stops by to see Lauren the next day. She tells him her ex-boyfriend wants to get back together. Ben asks if that's good. Lauren says she doesn't know.

Felicity decides to go out with Owen, a guy from art studio. Elena helps her get ready. There's a knock on the door. Felicity opens the door and finds Ben and Owen standing there. Ben has come over to study for O-chem with Elena. Felicity introduces Ben to Owen. It's an awkward moment. Ben looks surprised to see that Felicity is 'moving on.'

Noel tells Dr. Auerbach that his brother used to go through phases where it seemed as though he couldn't hear anything around him. It was like he was looking up at you from the bottom of a swimming pool. Noel says he realizes his brother could have drowned. He asks how long he's going to have to take the medication. Dr. Auerbach says he doesn't know. He assures Noel that he won't let him drown.

Ben leaves a phone message for Felicity. He says he doesn't know why he's calling - he guesses just to say hi. He says she doesn't have to call him back if she's out late… He says he'll probably talk to her later.

Felicity has a great time with Owen at dinner. When they return to the apartment Owen kisses her goodnight. It's an awkward moment. Felicity doesn't return his kiss. She tells him she's just… Owen fills in the blank - not ready… Felicity says she had a really good time with him. He tells her he understands. He says it may not seem like it right now, but she's going to find someone else. It may not be him but it's going to happen. He asks her to promise she won't feel weird tomorrow morning at the studio.

Felicity listens to Ben's phone message with Elena. Elena says he's pissed at his sorry self. She says guys are all the same the second you move on. Felicity goes to call him back. Elena says she should make Ben squirm. Felicity says she doesn't want to make him squirm. Elena says that's how it works. Seconds later, Lauren calls Ben. She's out walking 2 blocks away. He asks if she wants to come over. She tells him her relationship with her ex is like drinking. He's so bad for her. She says he wants to get back together, but she can't. She just doesn't want to feel this hole in her heart anymore. She says she just wants to forget it for one night - just tonight. They kiss. The phone rings. Ben lets the machine pick up. It's Felicity returning Ben's call. She says she'll be up for a little while if he wants to talk, otherwise they'll talk later. She hangs up.
