Felicity records a message to Sally on her tape recorder. She tells Sally it's been a while, but something has happened and she's the only one Felicity can talk to about it. People that she's told think she's insane. Felicity says that Sally probably will too. She tells Sally that she's in her old college room and it's so weird. She doesn't think Sally would believe how she got there, so she tells Sally about some things that lead up to her present state. She begins with what she says is the saddest and most important thing - Elena's funeral. Elena was in a car accident 6 months ago near Columbia University. The idea that her friend is gone - that you can lose someone you love so much ,changed everything. Instead of holding on - Felicity pulled away. She says she became pretty hard to live with.

Felicity was studying pre-med in Palo Alto with Ben when all of their trouble began. A girl by the name of Claire showed up. She was also pre-med. She attended the University of New York the same time as Felicity, but they had never met. Ben even had some classes with her, but they'd never spoken. For a while the three of them were hanging out, but then it became just Ben and Claire. The day Felicity got the invitation to Noel's wedding she went to the library to tell Ben and found him kissing Claire. Felicity tells Sally that she and Ben broke up.

Felicity arrives in New York for Noel's wedding. She tells Meghan not to tell anyone about her break up with Ben. Sean and Javier ask about Ben. Meghan tells them Ben has exams. Noel talks to Felicity as she unpacks. He tells her he can't believe he's getting married and he feels like he's about to throw up. He's incredibly nervous. Felicity tells him that it's going to be great - he and Zoe are perfect for each other. He asks if she remembers after her graduation she'd asked him if he ever wondered about them. Felicity reminds him that he'd told her that he never wondered about them. Noel tells her he was lying - he wondered all of the time. He tells her he thought at one point they would be getting married. He says Zoe is great and he loves her, but it's weird how sometimes things don't work out the way you thought they would. Felicity agrees. Felicity tells Sally that's when she started thinking that maybe she'd made a mistake - maybe it was Noel she should have been with all along.

Meghan's cooks up a potion in the kitchen - a new spell to put a hex on Felicity's ex. She tells Felicity she has this kick-ass book - Mystical Incantations Part II . Meghan tells her it's a new book - there isn't even a part I . She says the guy who wrote it - Korsakoff - is a genius. She tells Felicity there are things in the book that she's never even seen before. She explains she's making a tripping spell. Meghan asks if it's really over between Felicity and Ben. She wants to be sure Felicity isn't going to get back together with Ben - even when he comes back groveling for forgiveness. Felicity says she and Ben are finished. Meghan asks if Felicity is an Aries. Felicity reminds Meghan that she's a Scorpio. Meghan says that's even better and yanks a few strands of Felicity's hair for the potion.

Felicity, Javier, Meghan, Sean, and Richard join Noel and Zoe for dinner the night before the wedding. Ben shows up late with a bruise on his forehead. He tells everyone he's ok - he just tripped. He wants to talk to Felicity, but she doesn't want to talk to him. Later at the loft he tells her that he's sorry - it was stupid and it didn't mean anything and that things are over with Claire. Felicity demands to know how long he'd been cheating on her with Claire. Ben reluctantly tells Felicity it had been about one month.

Felicity tells Meghan she thought Ben had been with Claire one time - not for an entire month. Felicity says she can't believe Ben - after everything they've been through. Felicity tells Meghan she wishes she could go back to that night she slept with Noel on the roof. Felicity says that was her chance and she blew it. Meghan asks what she would do differently if she could go back. Felicity says she'd pick Noel. She tells Meghan she thinks she made a mistake. Hindsight. Meghan tells her they've got something better. Korsakoff kicks hindsight's ass. She pulls out her book and searches for a spell that will allow Felicity to go back in time. She yanks more strands of Felicity's hair for the spell. Felicity goes to sleep and later wakes up on the roof with Noel. She wonders how she got up there and why her clothes are different from what she was wearing when she fell asleep. Felicity freaks out - it's the night before Noel and Zoe's wedding. Noel has no idea who Zoe is and thinks Felicity is on drugs. Felicity tells him that she'd been drinking with Meghan. Felicity tells Sally she didn't know if she was going insane or if it was all a dream. She still doesn't.

Felicity tells Meghan about the spell. Meghan thinks Felicity is completely nuts. Felicity tells Noel that she's going to tell Ben about what's happened because she's decided she wants to be with him.

Later at the apartment she lived in senior year, Felicity is overwhelmed when she sees Elena. She hugs her and wants to talk, but Elena's tired and wants to get some rest - she and Tracey are getting married in a couple of days.

Felicity tells Ben that she slept with Noel and has decided she wants to be with him. Ben doesn't want to break up. He apologizes for not being there over summer vacation for her. He wants to work things out, but Felicity doesn't. She tells him that he broke her heart. Ben has no idea of what she's talking about. He says he's sorry if he's broken her heart - it's the last thing he ever wanted to do. Felicity names some of the other women like Claire, Lauren and Avery. Ben thinks they can get past this. Felicity says she doesn't think they can. Felicity tells Sally she's unsure if this is the real world, but it feels real and it hurts - a lot.

Felicity tells Noel that she had always chosen Ben over him in the past, but now she wants to give them a chance. Noel is unsure but then agrees that they'll date. Later Noel tells Felicity that he wants to keep her as a friend - he doesn't want to lose her. Felicity can't believe that Noel just wants to be friends.

Felicity's late for Elena's wedding rehearsal dinner. When she arrives she finds out that Elena and Tracey have called off the wedding. They had an argument about Felicity cheating on Ben with Noel. Elena defended Felicity and it freaked him out. Meghan says Elena came to her senses and called the whole thing off.

Ben is in bed. He's had too much to drink after breaking up with Felicity. She asks if she can get him anything. Ben says, "no." Felicity apologizes for everything that's happened. Ben's also down because doesn't think he can do the pre-med thing. He tells Felicity that he failed his first test even after hours and hours of studying. Felicity tells him that he can do this - he's going to do really well and he can't give up.

Felicity begs Meghan to help her return to the future and get her out of this mess. Felicity tells her it's a nightmare - she has to get back to the way things were. She tells Meghan she has to undo the spell. Meghan still thinks she's crazy. Felicity says now Ben may not become a doctor and Meghan and Sean may not get married. Felicity explains that Meghan proposed to Sean and they got married when Elena and Tracey called off their wedding. Meghan says, "Fat Chance." Meghan tells Felicity she didn't put a spell on her. Felicity tells her that she did in the future and it changes everything. Felicity pleads with Meghan to help her. They try to find the Korsakoff book, but then Felicity remembers that it was a new book and it probably hadn't even been written yet. She tells Meghan that she could be stuck there forever. Meghan suggests Felicity talk to a shrink. Felicity backs off and tells Meghan that she's not feeling well - that she probably has the flu or something. She tells Meghan that she'll feel better in the morning.

Noel walks in while Felicity's recording her message to send to Sally. He can't believe she still makes those tapes. He says it's nice she has someone to talk to. Noel tells her he just wanted to make sure she's ok. Noel tells her he said no to her because he's petrified. He doesn't want to lose her as his friend. She tells him that would never happen. Noel kisses her. She asks if it means they're going to be together. Noel says, "yeah." They kiss again.
